What data is included?
The tool indexes FDA drug enforcement (recall) records from all countries. Import refusal data from the FDA Data Dashboard is planned for a future update when an official machine-readable source becomes available.
How is identity established?
Companies are identified by the recalling firm name in FDA records. Where the same company appears under different names, we create aliases. If a name is ambiguous (shared by multiple companies), it is excluded from automatic matching.
What this tool does not do
- It does not claim any company is “unsafe” or “non-compliant”.
- It does not include all FDA data — only drug enforcement records indexed from openFDA.
- It does not use fuzzy matching or AI-generated links.
